As promised, here are two more of the recipes from our Fall Potluck here in Portland ---- Mary's delicious and very simple Beans and Tomatoes Provencale:

I heard from several of us this week. Alice in New York says,
That is great about the VegFest, and also a good suggestion to make a donation to Plum Village.
I will be making Myoko's "Un-Turkey" (and a small test run this weekend). I wouldn't necessarily think to make this, but friends have requested it. We are all vegans, and the host is in the habit of having a "centerpiece" dish.
Thank you for the site and the joyful updates.
Alice, please let us know how the Un-Turkey turned out!
Jannette in Texas wrote,
Thank you for sharing the potluck ideas and comments from everyone. I agree with Christel from Germany about the plum village cookbook. It is such a treasure and I would like to donate to plum village for their work in putting the cookbook together. If there is a link to donate, please share it with us.
I went looking for such a link and found this, but it isn't clear to me how one translates dollars into euros. Has anyone done this? If so, please let us know:

George in Pittsburgh included me in a message to the Earth Holders and Ambassadors on ways to support the Climate Summit in Paris that starts on Monday:
...many sanghas are already responding with events and activities not only matched to the Nov 30th Summit start, but in early December and later. Desert Rain Sangha in Sante Fe is coordinating a 15 minute "flash meditation" at the city's central plaza for November 29th, timed with the midday ringing of the St Francis Cathedral bell tower. Laughing Rivers Sangha, here in Pittsburgh, has organized a Multi-Faith Climate Prayer gathering for December 5th, midway through the Summit. Indeed COP21 is not an end point, but rather just the beginning of a new worldwide cooperation that will need our continuous prayers and support.
George sent a link to Earth Holders' beautiful new website with excellent suggestions on what we can do personally and collectively in the next couple of weeks, including fasting from meat and dairy products from Nov. 29 to Dec. 11:

Thanks so much, George for what you are doing. It's inspiring to think that there could be thousands of us around the world taking part in this fast together --- what a kindness to ourselves, each other, the animals, and our Earth.
Hmmmm... maybe the two-week challenge will motivate people to try new recipes, and send them to us!
Happy cooking,
Eve
