Quick, easy, refined sugar free... and above all delicious!

I had spotted this recipe months ago but only tried it yesterday - no left overs....
I have changed one or two things and did not use "raw" ingredients - not easy to find here and extremely expensive too! But then the nuts I have used are raw; I used regular cocoa (organic), replaced some of the almonds with hazelnuts, and since I only had half the amount of dates in the house I added some agave syrup.
I am sure it would taste delicious with some pecan nuts and maple syrup!

Ingredients:

470 ml 2 cups walnuts
240 ml1 cups dates, pitted
240 ml1 cup cacao
160 ml2/3 cup almonds, roughly chopped (skin on)
79 ml1/3 cup hazelnut (skin on)
30 ml2 tablespoon agave syrup
¼ tsp. sea salt

Instructions:

In a food processor finely grind the walnuts, add cocoa and salt, add the pitted dates one by one while the machine is running. The mixture should hold together when pressed between the fingers, if not add a few more dates. Transfer to a bowl and mix with the chopped almonds, put in a baking tin or any shallow dish, better if lined with cling-film, and press down. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour and slice. Enjoy!
