Blackened Spice

An herb and spice seasoning combination; Nancy says: "Use on almost everything."

Ingredients: 

15 ml 1 T. paprika
5 ml1 tsp. cayenne pepper (or less)
30 ml2 T. onion powder
30 ml2 T. garlic powder
15 ml1 T. dried thyme
30 ml2 T. dried oregano
15 ml1 T. kosher salt
15 ml1 T. ground black pepper

Instructions: 

Combine the ingredients.

Notes: 

Nancy brought this to our Summer Potluck where she sprinkled it on slices of her homegrown tomatoes. She also gave each of us a small container (or two) of Blackened Spice to take home and try on "everything."
