A special sweetener made with maple syrup and lemon.
zest of one lemon
150-200 ml. maple syrup (about 2/3 c.)
Mix lemon zest ( from one organic lemon ) with maple syrup and let both become friends in the fridge for some hours.
This flavoured maple syrup is just wonderful, for example as a substitute for honey on my morning müsli.
