These easy turnip rounds can be used as a side dish or snack.
turnips
olive oil
garlic, chopped
Slice the turnips in 1/8 to 1/4 inch rounds. Thick slices will be soft, thin ones more crisp. They taste good either way.
Puddle a generous amount of olive oil on a baking sheet and stir in the chopped garlic. Dip the turnips in the oil and garlic, coating both sides.
Spread the rounds on the baking sheet and bake at 350 to 400 degrees for about 30 minutes, flipping once.
