Kimberly Snow was once referred to as “God” in her position as executive chef of a large equine center. Years later, she finds herself agreeing to help when a meditation retreat’s cook is called away by a family emergency. With great humor, Kim recounts her experiences of life and cooking as teachers. My favorite line is “They used to call me God but they’ll never call me Buddha.” Scattered throughout are gems from various teachers. One that really resonated with me was given by “Leila” where she compares our internal stories to the construction of a personalized theme park. A light but oh so pleasurable read.
