Aloo Gobhi

Chelsea brought this delicious dish to the January, 2017 potluck in Portland.

Ingredients: 

Cauliflower
Olive oil
5 ml1 tsp cumin seeds
potatoes
2-4 tbsp grated ginger
4 cloves garlic
¾ tsp ground turmeric
½ tsp cayenne pepper
salt
fresh cilantro
garam masala

Instructions: 

Heat oil on medium-high, roast cumin seeds ~ 30 sec.
Add potatoes and cook for 10 min.
Add ginger, garlic, turmeric, and cayenne pepper and mix well.
Add cauliflower, 1 ½ tsp salt, ¾ cup water and mix well.
Cover and simmer for 5-15 min.
Add salt to taste.
Garnish with garam masala and cilantro.
