A few thoughts and links

First a warm welcome to Hilary G. who lives here in Portland. I met Hilary in my yoga class and was delighted to learn that she also has a vegan website, called How to Escape Heart Disease. You might enjoy seeing the video of her husband who did just that. I'm so pleased that she is joining us! Here is what she said:
... I had a good time browsing your site and looking at your blog and recipes. It's so wonderful how you are connecting people all over the world. I really like
what you are doing!! Thanks, Hilary

I have a great new recipe discovery for you! We had it for supper tonight and I'm still savoring the flavors. It's called Indian Shepherd's Pie, invented by Robin Robertson, whose creativity has brought us so many special recipes.

Maybe you remember the link Christel sent us last time to a video by Dr. Greger about food and neurological diseases. I heard from a couple of us who found it very interesting. Alison in New Hampshire said: Wowsers! Just amazing… I’m going to look into that more…
Bev is California responded with a suggestion for us:
Eve, I find Dr. Greger's videos very informative. I suggest that everyone go to NutritionFacts.org and subscribe. Everything is free, unless you want to buy a DVD or his book. You will get one email a week with (usually) two or three short videos. You can also sign up for a newsletter. ;)Bev

Does anyone have a new recipe for us? Let us know what's happening in your kitchen these days!
Happy cooking,
Eve
