Cookbooks for children? Korean Buddhist cooking?

Hello Mindful Cooks,

I have one recipe and two questions for you this time. The recipe is my current favorite version of granola, which I'm calling Crunchy Buckwheat Banana Granola:
Crunchy Buckwheat Banana Granola

These days I'm making it with a banana and a pear. It dries (or bakes) as a sort of mat which I break up into big pieces and consider a crispy cookie --- or into small pieces to have for breakfast with soymilk and raisins --- or as a mid-afternoon snack with cashew yogurt. Yum!

The first question comes from Marc in New York who says:

My grandkids (4 and 1.5) are being raised vegetarian. Are there any vegetarian cook books for kids the sangha recommends?

If you know of any good plant-based cookbooks for kids, let me know ([email protected]) and I'll tell Marc.

The second question comes from Ashwani and Vicki in Illinois, telling of an opportunity to take an online course in Korean Buddhist Cooking:

With 5 people or more, there is a discount. Right now, there are 3 of us from Dharma Voices for Animals committed, and one more possible. If you are interested, please let me know and I will let Tricycle know. They will send me a code, which we would then use when we register to receive the discount.

If you are interested, let me know and I will pass the word.

Happy cooking,
